William Mallory - will 1709

In the name of God Amen the Twenty seventh day of May in ye year of our Lord God 1709 I William Mallory of Rushden in ye County of Northampton yeoman of perfect Mind & Memory thanks be to God doe make and ordain this my last will & Testament in manner and form following Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Mar… the sum of forty pounds of good & lawfull money of Great Brittain to be payd within twelve months after my decease Item I also give her All the household goods that she brought with her Item I give [& bequeath to] my sonn Thomas Mallery the sum of two hundred pounds of good & lawfull money of [Great Brittain] to be payd at two single payments that is to say one hundred pounds within six months next ensuing … the date hereof and the other hundred pounds to be payd either in Money or Stock within twelve months next ensuing the date hereof Item I give and bequeath to my sonn John Mallory the sum of fo… pounds of good & lawfull money of Great Brittain to be payd when he shall come to one [& twenty] years of age Item my will is that my Executor hereafter named shall pay five pounds more to [put] my said son John Mallory to a Trade if he be amind to one and also if he continue …. them they shall provide sufficient meat drink washing & lodging and allsorts of Apparill [until] he shall come to sixteen years of age Item I give and bequeath unto my sonn William Mallory my freehold Close of pasture ground with ye appurtenances lyeing and being in Rushden to him and his heirs and Assigns for ever Item I also give him all ye hoviling in ye yard I now dwell and also a ….. great chest that was my fathers and ye press cupboard and long Table and ye wind… Item I give and bequeath unto my Two sonns Robert and Samuell Mallory whom I likewise … make & ordain joint Executors of this my last will and Testament all and singular [my] whole personall Estate my B… Bonds Mortgages Ready money together with all my household goods and chattels whatsoever exepting what is before given by them freely to be po[ssessed] and enjoyed after my just debts & funeral charges are payd And I do hereby utterly dis[anull &] revoke all & every other former wills or Testaments by mee in any ways before this to [me] Ratifying & confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seall ye day & year above written
