In the name of god ame[n] the xj th daye of the monythe of June in the yere of ow[r] lord god 1555 I Wyllyam Lowethe of Rushden In the countie of
Northampton
wever being of holle mynde and in good & p[er]fitt remembrance laude and prayse be unto allmyghty god do make & ordeyne this my present testament concerning herein my last will in man[er] & forme following. First I comende my soule unto allmyghte god my maker & redeem[er] & my bodie to be buried in the churche or churche yarde of Rushden aforsaide Item I bequethe to Jone Golston my doughter a brasse pot & a brasse panne her gra(nan)ies* Item I bequethe to ev[er]y childe of my doughters children xij d a pece Item I bequethe to Willm Lowethes sonne xij d Item I bequethe to John Batte & to Thomas Batte ether of them a brasse potte Item the rest of all my goods unbequethed I bequethe to Agnes my wyffe whom I make my sole executrixe of this my last will & testament Item I ordeyne & make Richard Dobbs to be my sup[er]visor & oversear of this my will & testame[n]t
