August the fourth Anno 1668
In the name of God Amen I Henry Last of Rushden in the County of Northampton mason being sick and weak in body but of perfect sense and remembrance God be praised do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Imprimis I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God my heavenly father hoping through the meritorious death and passion of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full pardon and remission of all my sins and my body be buried in Christian burial at the discretion of my Executrix.
Item I give to my son Mark Last the part of one freehold house in Irthlingborough the said Mark being to pay to my son George the sum of five pounds of lawful English money within fourteen years after my decease.
Item I give to my son George the sum of five pounds to be paid to the said George within ten years after my decease.
Item I give to the four children of my son Mark the sum of four shillings equally to be divided between them.
Item I give to Elizabeth Last the daughter of my son Henry the sum of five pounds of lawful English money to be paid to the said Elizabeth within seven years after my decease.
Item I give and bequeath all the remainder of my movable goods and chattels to my daughter Margery whom I make sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking all other wills and testaments in witness hereof I the said Henry Last have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
