John Jackson - will 1718

In the Name of God Amen I John Jackson of the Parish of Rushden in the County of Northton Husbandman (being of sound mind and memory praised be God for the same) Do this Seventh day of March in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Seventeen Eighteen make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following

Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Jackson the sum of fifteen pounds of Good & Lawful money of Great Britain to be paid within one year after my decease

Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth six of the best Pewter Dishes my Best Brass Kettle Pott my Best Chest & six of my Best Green Chairs my Best Wooll Bed with bedsted & Curtains & a pair of Blanketts Six Napkins & a flaxen board cloth & one pair of Sheets to be delivered to my Said Daughter Elizabeth Within one year after my Decease

Item I give unto my Son John Jackson the Sum of fifteen pounds to be paid within one year after my decease

Item I give unto my Son Robert Jackson the of fifteen pounds to be paid him when he shall attain the age of one & twenty years

Item I give unto my Son James Jackson the sum of fifteen pounds to be paid him when he shall attain the age of one & twenty years

Item I give and bequeath all the rest of My Goods & Chattells Whatsoever Wheresoever unto My Loving Wife Elizabeth Jackson & My Loving Son Thomas Jackson to be equally divided between them and I make constitute appoint & ordaine the said Elizabeth Jackson my Wife & Thomas Jackson my Son to be joint Executors of this my Last Will & Testament in Confidence that they shall pay all & every the Legacys above mentioned as by me designed & appointed and hereby I Revoke all former Wills & Testaments In Witness whereof I have put my hand & Seal the day & year above Written
