Will of Edward INGRAM, 31 Nov 1597

In the name of God Amen The xxxj day of November in the Yeare of our Lord 1597. I Edward INGRAM of Rushden in the County of Northampton and Dioces of Peterborough Labourer being sicke in body though wholle in minde laud and praise be to god therefore doe ordaine and make my testament concerning herein my last will in manner and forme followinge First I bequeath my soule to Almighty god my Creator and Redeemer hopeinge to have remission of all my sinnes by the passion and bloud sheding of Jesus Christe. And my body to be buried in the Pishe churchyard of Rushden aforesaid. Item I bequeath unto the reparacon of the parishe church of Rushden iiij d. Item I bequeath unto Samuell my Sonne xx s. to be paid at the xxj Yeare of his age. Item I bequeath unto Judith my daughter xiij s. iiij d. to be paid at the xviij Yeare of her age. Item I bequeath unto John CURTIS the Sonne of William CURTIS late Deceased and my sonne in lawe x s. to be paid at the xxj Yeare of his adge. And all the rest of my goods and Chattells unbequeathed my funeral paid and debts discharged I give unto Jane my Wife whom I make my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In Witnesse Whereof  to this my last Will and Testament I have put to my hand the day and Yeare above written in the presence of Francis BATES Willm WATSON Robert MEY and other mo[re] the Signe of Edward INGRAM These I a point for my overseers of this my last Will and Testament Francis BATES and Robert MEY
