In the name of god Amen the 9^th of  Aprill in the Yeare of our Lorde 1610 I Thomas HARDWICK of Rushden in the Countye of Northampton Labourer being sicke in bodye but whole in mynde laude and praise be unto god therefore doe ordaine and my testament conteyning Herein my last will in forme and maner following First I bequeath my Soule to allmighty God my Creator and Redeemer and my bodie to be buryed in the parishe churchyarde of Rushden aforesaid Itm I bequeath unto the parishe church of Rushden xijd Itm I give unto Wm SMITH my brother in Lawe one black star[re]d cowe to be delivered at Whitsunday next coming It I give unto John CURTYS & Samuell INGRAM sonnes of Jane INGRAM one ewe and a lambe to be delivered within one yeare after my death Itm I give unto Edward HARDWICK and Richard HARDWICK my brothers & unto John HARDWICK the sonne of George HARDWICK and to Agnes HARDWICK Daughter of the said George  to either of them v s. to be paid within one yeare after my departure Itm I give unto Elizabeth INGRAM my Sister v s. to be payd within one yeare after my departure Itm I give unto William SMITH one ewe and a lambe to be delivered within one yeare after my departure Itm I give unto the sonne of Mr. PHENNIHOWSE vj s. viij d. Itm I give unto the sonne of  Thomas GEARYE viz John GEARYE my god sonne xij d. Itm I give unto Lambert WOODWARD and John BRODLEY either of them xij d. It I give unto Mary ALLALIE vj d. Itm I give unto the fower sonnes of Robert MAY two ewes to be delivered unto them within two yeares after my departure And all the rest of my goods unbequeathed I give unto Agnes my wife whom I make my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament And I appoynt for Overseers Francis BATES and Robert MAYE In wittnes hereof I have put to my hand
