In the Name of God Amen the 29th daie of September in the Yeare of our Lord 1610 I Richard GOREY of Rushden in the Countie of Northt Weaver being Sicke in bodie, but whole in my mynde, laude and praise be unto god therefore Doe ordayne and make my testament in forme & maner followinge First I bequeath my Soule unto Allmightie god my Creator and Redeemer and my bodie to be buried in the parishe church Yard of Rushden aforesaid Item I give unto Elizabeth my Daughter my older redd cowe or one as good in her Stede to be Delivered unto her or to her use at 14 Yeares of her age Item I give unto the Said Elizabeth my Daughter one Standing [Seeled] bedd Item I give unto Anne my daughter xls to be paide unto her at 16 Yeares of age and my next redd Cowe to be Delivered at the 16th yeare of her age Item I give unto Marie my Daughter xls. at the 16 yeare of [her] age and one bullock of two Yeares old to be delivered at the same tyme Item I give unto Susan my daughter xls. and one Yearling bullock to be paid and delivered at the 16th Yeare of her age Item I give unto my two daughters Marie and Susan xxs. to be paid unto them within one Yeare after my departure Which xxs. shall be raised of the loomes & other implements in my shoppe I appoynt for overseers of this my psent Will and testament Francis Bates & Robert Maye And all the rest of my goods unbequeathed I give unto Joan my Wife whom I make my Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and testament In Wittnes Whereof I have put to my hand
