Alice Goosey 1731

In the name of God Amen. I Alice Goosey of Rushden in the County of Northampton being of disposing mind and memory (blessed be God) do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following; first I resign up my soul to the mercy of God, my body I commit to the earth in hopes of a blessed resurrection through the merits of Christ our Saviour. As for my temporal estate, - I give to my son Thomas Goosey my house with the cow common at Holcot to him and his heirs for ever - Item I give to my daughter Ann Goosey the sum of ten pounds and all my wearing apparel and household goods. All the rest and residue of my personal estate goods and chattels I do give to my said son and daughter to be equally divided between them, and I do make and appoint my said daughter Ann Goosey Executrix of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of March in the year of our Lord 1729.
