In the name of God Amen The Third Day of February in anno dom 1639 I Dorathye Geary of Rushden in the County of North’ton Spinster doe ordaine & make this my last will and Testament in manner & forme followeing first I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Jesus Christ my Saviour & my Redeemer & my body to bee buryed in the parish Church yard of Rushden and my goods I leave to my friends in the world as followeth Item I give and bequeath to John Geary my Brother Twelve Pence to bee payed him within a quarter of a yeare after my dicease by my executor Item I give and bequeath to my brother Thomas Geary Twenty shillings to bee payed him within one whole yeare next after my dicease by my executor Item my will is that all the rest of my goods moveable and unmoveable bonds and money which I have oweing in the world I give and bequeath unto Henry Geary my brother whome I make my sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament to see mee Maintayned and keept soe long as it shall please god I shall live in this world soe well as hee is able & to see my body brought to the grave & my legasses discharged, & my will is that this shall stand in force & none other In witnesse wheareoff I have set to my hand the day & yeare above wrytten Item the debts that are oweing to mee as followeing my will is my executor shall have Item my brother Iohn Geary oweth mee ffive pounds & Eighteene shillings which I lent him at severall times
Item my brother Thomas Geary oweth mee ffiftie shillings being part of the portion which my Sister gave mee at her death by her last will
Item I have a bed a table bord a Cubbard and a Cheare standing at my brother Iohn Geary house whome also my will is that my executor shall have them at my discease
