Bequest to St. Mary’s—The late Mr. Joseph Arthur Lovel Dearlove, M.Inst.C.E., M.I.E.F., for many years technical adviser to the firm of Siemens Bros. And other world-known electrical engineering firms, who died at 41 Hill-street, Berkeley-square, London (his cremated remains being interred in the family vault in St. Mary’s Churchyard, Rushden, on Oct. 25^th last year), has left estate of the gross value of £83,539. Testator left a sum producing £2 10s. per annum to the Rector and churchwardens of St. Mary’s, Rushden, for keeping in order the churchyard and the grave of his father and mother.

The Dearlove family grave is to the north-west of the church, enclosed in high railings.
