William Cooper 1703/4

This is the last will and Testament of me William Cooper of Rushden in ye County of Northton sheaparde being sick and infirm of Body but of good and sound minde and understanding thanks be to god doe make this my last will and testament in manner and fourme ffollowing First I bequeath my soule into the hands of allmighty god my heavenly father by whome of his meere and only grace I trust to be receved in to eternall rest through the death of his onely Sonne My Saviour and redeemer Jesus Crist and my body I committ to ye Earth to be interned with decency at the discretion of My Executours heare in after named their to rest in Expectation of a joyfull resurrection at the last Day and as touching such temporall Estate as it hath pleasd god to bestow upon me I dispose there of in manner following First I give unto My Deare and Loving Daughter Elizabeth Cooper the Chest of drawers and the Chest which was my Fathers William Coopers which are in the paler and the duzon of puter plats in ye Keching and the Feather bed fixte in the chamber wheare My Daughter lieth all so I give unto My deare and Loving wife Grace Cooper and Elizabeth my daughter all and every my goods and chattell within my hous and in the grounds and allso my wajges being dew from all my Masters and all moneys oing and dew to me what so ever to be devoided equallie betwene my wife and daughter as above named and if there shoud be anye diffrance betwene them I desier that two nibours may deside and after my just debts paid and funrall expences discarged I give unto my deare and loving wife Grace Cooper and Elizabeth my Daughter whom I macke and ordaine full and sole Executrixs of this my last will and testament heareby revoakeing and macking void all former and other wills and testaments by me made In wittnesse wheare of I have heare unto sett my hand and seale the Sixt day of July in the second yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Quene Ann by the grace of god of England Scottlande France and Ierlande Quene defender of the Faith Anno D 1703/4
