Will of Rushden Manufacturer
Property left to Widow


The late Mr Arthur Cave, of The Hutt, Higham-road, Rushden, and of Leicester, hide and leather factor and shoe manufacturer, chairman of Messrs Sanderson, reid, and Co. Ltd., of Leicester, who died suddenly in a railway train between Rushden and Wellingborough on February 21st last, left estate of the gross value of £39,778 19s. 11d., with net personalty of £28,591 12s. 9d.

Probate of his will has been granted to his widow, Mrs Alice Cave, of the same address, and Mr John Hunt Burton, accountant, of Leicester. The testator left £50 to John Hunt Barton, his household and personal effects to his wife absolutely, and the residue of his property upon trust for his wife during her widowhood or to pay her the income from one-third thereof for life in the event of her remarriage, and subject thereto to his children in equal shares.
