In the name of God Amen the 26th day of August 1630 I John BURGE of Rushden in the County of North ffuller, being Sicke of body but of good and pfect memory praysed be God do make and ordayne this my Last will and Testament in Mannor and fourme as followeth first I bequeath my Soule untto the hands of almighty God my creator and to Jesus Christ my redeemer and my body to be buryed in the ChurchYard of Rushden.
In primis I give to Thomas FYSHER and to my daughter Katherine his wyfe and to their heirs of hir body on half Aker of free hold land which he hath in possession
Item I give to Thomas FYSHER and Edward FYSHER his Sonne xls and this money to be payd within two years after my decease by my Executor or hir assignes
Item I give to my daughter Martha xls and this to be payd within on year after my decease and this to be payd by my Executor or hir assignes
Item I give to my daughter Annis and hir Sonne John xxs and this to be payd two yeares after my decease by my Executor or hir assignes
Item I give to my daughter Mary and to hir daughter Mary xs and this to be payd within two yeares after my decease and this to be payd by my Executor or hir Assignes
Item I give to my daughter Sussan and hir daughter Sussan xs and this to be payd two yeares after my decease and this to be payd by my Executor or hir assignes
Item I give to my Sonne George BURGE two Sheepe and theyre to be given at in the discretion of my Executor
Item I give to my Brother William BURGE on Suit of aparell and this to be given in the discretion of my Executor
Item for the all rest of my goods and Chattels unbequethed both within doores ]and]
without debts and funerall discharged I give to Edy, my wyfe [whom]
I make my Sole Executor of this my Last will.
