Rushden November 3 1638
In they name of god amen I wydow Burge of Rushden in they countie of Northampton spinster being sicke of body but of a perfect memory thankes be given to god for the same doth make and ordayne this my last will and Testament in manor & fourme as it thus followeth first I bequeath my soule into the hands of allmighty god my maker and my body to be buryed within they Churchyard of Rushden.
Imprimis I give to ye poore of Rushden ---------------------- iijs. : iiijd.
Item I give to my daughter Katherine Fisher on[e] Blacke cow on[e] quarter of barley my two bigest keteles next to ye greatest and xx s. of money to be payd by my Executor on they Assension day next coming and the rest of they goodes & chatels to be deliverd presently after my desease by my Executor
Item I give to my daughter Mary Barker my two years old bullocke my bigest great ketell and on[e] quarter of Barley & xx s. of money to be payd by my Executor on the Assension day next coming and to her daughter Mary on[e] pewter plater on[e] flaxen sheet and on[e] fether pillow and on[e] litle cofer and thes] goods and chatels to be delliverd by my Executor presently after my decease
Item I give to my grandchild John Burge on[e] borden bed on[e] blanket on[e] payre of harden sheets my bigest cofer in they chamber they hovell in they yard and my best Ewe sheep and these to be deliverd by my Executor presently after my decease and xx s. of money to be payd on the Assension day next by my Executor and foure yardes of wollen cloath to make him a suit
Item I give to Sussan Quicke xijd. and to hir daughter------------------- xijd.
Item I give to Grace Wingrave --------------------------------------------xijd.
Item I give to William Burge ye Elder --------------------------------- xijd.
Item I give to William Burge ye younger my best lamhooke
Item I give to Henry Barnard ----------------------------------------------2s. 6d
And all this money to be payd presently after my decease
Item for all they rest of my goods & Chatels unbequeathed both within doores and without my debts and funerall discharged I give to John Allen my sonne in law whom I make my full Executor of this my last will and Testament
