Thomas Bletso 1662

Anno Domini 1662 July the 6th In the name of God Amen I Thomas Bletso of Rushden in the County of North’ton husbandman though sick in body yet of perfect memory God be praised do make my last Will & testament in manner and form following First I bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty God my maker & redeemer my body to be decently buried within the church or churchyard of Rushden aforesaid Imprimis I give to Elizabeth my daughter four pairs of sheets whereof one pair of them to be flaxen & one pair of hemp pillowbears four napkins hempen & three pewter platters one brass pot two kettles the bed in [the] parlour which is the trus bed on feather bolster one feather pillow one chest one tub one blanket the two best chairs in the hall the long form in the hall one barrel & fifteen pounds of money to be paid by my Executrix when she shall come to the age of four & twenty
I give to Hanna my daughter four pairs of sheets & a flaxen one sheet one boardcloth four napkins one pair of pillow bears three pewter platters one little kettle one tub one barrel one coffer one half headed bed in the chamber one pillow one bolster one blanket & fiteen pounds of money to be paid her at the age of four & twenty years by my Executrix & maintain her to the age of eighteen
I give to my son Thomas Bletso the cupboard in the hall the bench board the [pen] in the buttery one salting trough one pair of sheets one blanket one pillow one bolster and to maintain him to the age of eighteen by my Executrix
I give to my daughter Sara five shillings to be paid by my Executrix
I give to Susanna my daughter all my goods of horses Beef sheep plows carts grain in the fields hay household stuff ewers all unbequeathed whom I make my sole executrix of this my last will and testament my debts and legacies and funeral discharged

I appoint overseers of this my will
