John Bletsho - will 1639

In the Name of God Amen I John Bletsho of Rushden in the Countie of North’ton blacke smyth being sicke in body but of perfect memery God be praised doe the day & year above written make my last will & Testament in manner & forme following First I bequeath my soule unto allmightie God & my body to be buryed in the church yard of Rushden aforesaid with a sure hope of a Joyfull resurreccon and for my worldly goods & Chattles I dispose of them as followeth First I give to my daughter Elizabeth my land in harold fielde to be sold so soone as may bee and the money to be put forth to the behoofe of the childe likewise I give to my daughter Elizabeth two brasse pannes three pare of sheetes one pare of pillowbeers one table standing in the hall I give to my daughter Eliz the best lands being three Roods lying upon a furlong called Musmeare I bequeath to my Brother Tho … … sute of Aparell & my coat & every one of the rest … and Sisters a Sheepe at the disposing of my wife whom … Sole Executrix of all my goods & Chattles unbequeathed … … discharged I appoint for overseers of my will Lewis Tapp & T… … the marke of John Bletsho Lewis Tapp Thomas Bletsho
