William Barry - Renunciation 1718

Renunciation by Alice, the widow of William BARRY, dated 22nd Feb 1717-18

Bee it knowne unto all men by these presents that I Alice BARRY the Widdow and Relict of William BARRY late of Rushden in the County of Northton deceased having the Right of Administration of the Goods and Chattells of my late Husband deceased for divers good Causes and Considerations me hereunto moving have renounced and do hereby renounce the Administration of the Goods of the said deceased and do hereby desire that the same may be committed and granted to William CAMPION of Rushden aforesaid Principal Creditor of the said deceased and to the Intent this my renunciation and consent may be admitted I doe hereby nominate and appoint Mr Samuel Pennington Notary publiq and one of the Procurators G..d.le of the Consistory Court of the Bishop of Peterborough my true and lawfull Proctor for me and in my name to appear before the Worshipfull Richard REYNOLDS Dr of Laws and Chancellor of the Diocess of Peterborough or his lawfull Surrogate to have this my Renunciation and consent admitted and I do hereby ratify and Confirm whatever my said Proctor shall lawfully doe in or concerning the promises In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this Twenty Second day of February Anno Dni 1717
