Henry Barnerd 1664 Will

In the name of God Amen the eighteeneth Day of April 1664 acording to the computa of the Church of England I Henery Barnerd of Rushden in the County of Northampt Husbandman being of perfect memory of remembrance praised be God doe make and ordaine this my last Will & Testament in manner and forme following, viz

First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty God my maker hopeing that through the meritorious Death and Passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and forgivenesse of all my sines, and as for my Body to be buried in christian Buriall at the Discretion of my Executrixe hereafter mentioned
Item I give unto Jane my wife my Browne Cow and my best Blacke Cow and two Ewes and two lambes And all my moveable goods During hir life yt are within my house in which I now dwell excepting the table & forme belonging to it wh stand in my Hall which I give unto Sarah Darling my grandchilde And also my best chest wh stands now in my parlor wh I give to Jane Darling my grandchild Item I give my best Brasse pott to Mary Brittame my grandchild Item I give to my daughter Margeret Barnerd the sume of one hundred pounds of lawfull English money to be payd to her within two yeares after my Daughter Hanah Barnerd is admited tenant in the court And allso I give to my daughter Margeret aforesd one yeareling Browne Bullocke and one ewe of lamb And after the decease of Jane my wife my will is that all my moveable goods wh I now give my sd wife duringe hir life I give to my Daughter Hanah Barnerd and allso all other my goods and chattells whatsoever unbequeathed I give to my Daughter Hanah aforesd to Discharge my debts & funerall charges And I do ordaine and make my daughter Hanah Barnerd aforesd Executrixe of this my last will & testament revokeing all other wills & testaments.

In witttnesse whereof I have set here to my hand & seale the day & yeare first above written.
