Elizabeth Darnelye - 1622 Will

In the name of god amen I Elizabeth Darnelye beinge sicke of bodye but hole of mynd (land) and prayse be to god herefore ordaine and make this my last will and testament in maner and forme as followoth

First I bequeath my soule into the hands of allmightye god my maker and redeemer and my bodye to be buryed in the Churchyard of Rusheden

Item I bequeath to Francis Darnelye wife of Richard Darnely my best gowne and to the daughter of Francis Darnely my beast petycote

Item I bequeth to my daughter Joane a pair of cloath that is at the fullers and to the youngest sonne of Joane on strick of barley

Item I bequethe to thre children of Jhon Fishers thre stricks of barley

Item I bequeath to the sonne of Willm Lewes on stricke of pease

Item I bequeath to the sonne of Richard Darnelye on stricke of barley

Item I bequeath to my sonne Thomas Darnelye xij d

Item I bequeath to my daughter Margerat xij d

Item I bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth xij d

Item I bequeath to my daughter Marye all my household stufe

And for the execution of this my last will and testament I make my sonne Richard Darnely my executor and all the rest of my goods unbequethed I bequeath to him my funeral expenses being discharged and my debts being payd
