In the name of God Amen The xviij day of July in the yeare of our Lord god 1597. I Wm BULL of Rushden within the County of North and Diocesse of Peterborough husbandman Sicke in body yet wholl in minde and of good and perfecte memory thankes be unto god doe make and ordaine this my testament concerning herein my last will in manner and forme followinge. First I bequeath my Soule to Allmighty god my maker hopeinge that by the passion and bloud shedinge of his Sone Jesus Christe to have remission for all my Sinnes And my body to be buried in the parish church or churchyard of Rushden aforesaid Item I give to the reparation of the parishe church of Rushden aforesaid ij s Item I give unto John BULL the Sonne of George BULL late deceased xxvj s iij d to be paid to the Said John at the xxj^st yeare of his age Item I give unto Henry my Sonne vij£ xiij s iiij d to be paid after the decease of Elizabeth my wife Item I give unto John my Sonne vj£ xiij s iiij d to be paid after the decease of Elizabeth my wife Item I give unto Bartholomew my Sonne vj£ xiij s iiij d to be paid after the decease of Elizabeth my wife Item I give unto Alice PEETOR my daughter on cow  and soe much money as shall make the price of the same cowe v£ Item if any of my said Sonnes decease Thys present life before the tyme come they should receive their said money as is aforesaid my Will is that the survivors shall have his portion and be his heires Item after my debts paid and my Will performed all the rest of goodes and cattells as well moveable as unmoveable unbequeathed I give unto Elizabeth my wife whom I make my sole Executrix In witness whereof to this my present Will I the said William BULL have hereunto set my hand the day and yeare above written These  I appointe for my overseers Richard BROMFIELD senior Richard MAY In the presence of Richard BROMFIELD senior Richard MAY Thomas SMITH Robert MAY and other mor
