Notes of the Week

FREE EDUCATION —Availing himself of the permission given by the School Board, Mr Vann, headmaster of the National School, opened his free classes for men at the Board Schools on Sunday afternoon, for instruction in reading, writing and arithmetic. About a dozen adults attended and many more have signified their intention of joining.
