Rushden Fire
Outbreak at the Midland Railway Station

An outbreak of fire at the Rushden Railway Station on Sunday evening caused a large crowd to assemble about 8.p.m. The fire occurred at a storeroom, and was noticed by some boys. Two of the Station Fire Brigade were quickly on the scene, and with the aid of the station appliances, which were filled up by Fireman Britchford, of the Rushden Brigade, soon extinguished the fire. A quantity of waste paper was burned but no damage was done.
