Early on Wednesday evening a collision occurred between two motor-cyclists at the junction of Wellingborough-road, Washbrook-road, and Irchester-road.

  Mrs. Barwick, of Wellingborough, was riding her small motor-cycle up Washbrook-road, and when attempting to negotiate the turn to Wellingborough she collided with Mr. Chettle, of Portland-road, Rushden.  The machines collided rather heavily, and both drivers and Mrs. Chettle, who was riding on the pillion of her husband’s cycle were thrown.

  Mrs. Barwick was hurt in several parts of the body, and Mr. Chettle cut his leg.  Mrs. Chettle was unhurt except for a slight injury to her arm.  Mrs. Barwick and Mr. and Mrs. Chettle went to the house of a sister of Mrs. Barwick, Mrs. Warner, in Windmill-road, where they received attention.

  Mrs. Barwick’s machine was rather badly damaged, but Mr. Chettle’s cycle was little the worse for the crash.
