Galleon Cafe
Galleon Cafe - 93 High Street South
Above is an advert from the 1960s when the proprietors were Mr & Mrs F R Richardson.

The blind over the window - right - shows they also offered bed & breakfast.

The same two shops some years earlier:
a Second Hand Shop, or Thrift Shop.
They bought items for cash and then
sold them in the shop.
Fish shop
shoe repairs and chip shop
Refurbished with new windows
and a coat of paint.

A shoe repair shop kept by T R Jones,
with 'Buonaparte' Hairdresser above.

Next door the fish and chip shop.
So popular in the 1970s/80s that people
even came from Bozeat to fetch
their fish and chips.
