John Glover Perkins
Plumber & House Decorator
John Glover Perkins was born at Daventry and trained as a plumber.

He came to Rushden about 1900 aged 21, and was lodging with Charles Allen and his family at 64 Washbrook Road.

On May 29th 1901 at Park Road Methodist Church he was married to Ellen Maud Wooding.

Soon set up his own business at 51 Moor Road.

He continued to trade there until at least 1926.
