John Orme range of Road Cones
Orme road cones are conspicuous, convenient, portable markers which answer all the questions of outdoor roadside use. They are versatile, adaptable, safe, effective, stable in high winds, resistant to extreme temperatures, crash resistant and long lasting.
The cones are manufactured in highest quality materials - pvc, eva, or polyethylene - and come in a range of three sizes. There is a choice of red with a white reflective sleeve or all white with a red/white/red reflective sleeve.

'L'Cone
This cone is available in red or white polyethylene with a replaceable reflective sleeve. The red is translucent to accommodate battery operated flashers suspended inside the cone for night use.
The cones require no maintenance. They have passed stringent wind tunnel tests, having a base weight to give greater stability.

'M'Cone
This cone is similar to the standard 'L' cone, but has the additional advantage of being manufactured in florescent red eva, with a white reflective sleeve conforming to BS873. Ethylene vinyl acetate (eva), a tough rubbery material, is virtually indestructible.
'Royal'Cone
This cone is used as an obstacle or marker for horse trials, carriage and pair competitions, gymkhanas etc. Manufactured in yellow polyethylene, it comes complete with coloured discs and rubber balls.
Base weight
All cones incorporate a base weight for additional stability, which is normally of extruded rubber. A different base weight, available on request, is in the form of several small sand filled polyethylene tubes sealed within a heavy gauge single outer sheath.

In Polyethelene
|
Moulded in tough resilient material this cone is bright yellow. It stands 56 cm (22") high. An extra feature is an extruded rubber stabilising base weight which anchors the cone to the pavement, permitting safe use in windy conditions.
