Albert Munns
Tailor

Albert Munns came to Rushden before 1881, with his mother Hannah, and sister Elizabeth. Hannah was born in Rushden, and Albert (c1862) and his sister (c1867) were born in Philadelphia, USA. In the census Hannah was recorded as "married" suggesting she had returned to England, leaving her husband in America. Hannah died in 1890 and was buried in Rushden Cemetery.

When they came back to Rushden, Albert was working as a tailor, and they were living at 1 Mendip Cottages, Orchard Place.

In 1885 Albert married Rose Mortimer Evans, from Carlton, BDF, at St Mary's Church, Rushden. They had one daughter, Ida.
