Debtor ArrestedAt the County Court on Monday Mr. Thomas Minney, leather dealer, Glassbrook-road, Rushden, was brought up on a commitment order. Mr. Coales for the debtor. Mr. C. R. Claridge and Mr. Parker represented judgment creditors. Debtor said he had been doing nothing for the last six months. He got his credit when doing a boot dealer’s business. The goods came from manufacturers. Mr. Coales said debtor had arranged to file his petition in bankruptcy. His Honour said he would remit the fine of £5 imposed at the last Court, but he had no power to take the man out of the bailiff’s hands except in case of sickness. Debtor was then taken back to the cells.
