These adverts are all we have found about Fred Litchfield & Co. - so far.................?
The advert tells they had 25 years of experience, so must have started the business about 1873.
But it seems that Fred didn't live in Rushden as he is not recorded in the census for 1871 or 1881.
The only Fred in 1891 is just 26 years old and working in the shoetrade.
