Hooton Brothers Bazaar

Hooton Brothers opened a Bazaar shop selling fancy goods at number 60 High Street just before the First World War.

In about 1925 they moved across the road to number 79 High Street, adjoining the Midland Bank. The store carried on until sometime after WWII.

The shop is pictured here (extreme right) about 1930, St Mary's church just visible in the distance.
