Fine Fare
First Supermarket in Rushden High Street

The 1960s saw many changes to the High Street. Much demolition and new buildings.

The old Coffee Tavern was built in 1882 at the corner of High Street and what was later renamed Coffee Tavern Lane. Renamed the Waverley Temperance Hotel, in 1960 it was demolished, and replaced by a modern supermarket.
