The Argus, 24th September 1897, transcribed by Kay Collins
Mr. F. Stimpson, tailor

The business carried on by Mr. F. Stimpson, tailor, hatter, and hosier, High-street, Rushden, has been disposed of to his late manager, Mr. E. King, who will still continue to sell the same, high-class stylish goods, at the lowest possible prices. This shop has always been noted since the commencement for selling goods of reliable makers, and customers may depend on receiving the best satisfaction in every way.

c1895

Edward King took over the business and may have gone into partnership with Harry Everingham.
