Temperance Veterans 1919

Three Veteran Workers

Reading from left to right the portraits are of Mr. J. Claridge, J.P. (president), Mr. B. Vorley (secretary), and Mr. G. W. Button (treasurer).

They are all life long abstainers, and have been connected with temperance work the whole of their lives. Mr. Vorley has held the position for 36 years, and Mr. Claridge 11 years, and Mr. Button for eight years. Mr Claridge was for 30 years secretary of the Rushden Temperance Society.
