Rushden Echo, 23rd June 1905, transcribed by Kay Collins
OutingThe members of the Wellingboro’-road Mission Junior C. E. Society drove to Odell on Saturday for an outing. In spite of the threatening weather, a large number started, but unfortunately, rain fell during the greater part of the journey. However, the young people made the best of the circumstances, and amused themselves with games, besides partaking if tea. The weather cleared towards evening and the drive home was of a very pleasant character.
