"Top Meeting"

14 June 1873 - Northampton Mercury

In our report of the bazaar in connection with the Old Baptist Meeting, the name of Miss Gross was omitted from the list of stall-keepers. The total amount realised was £192, and this will be increased to over £200 from articles remaining unsold .....

Wellingborough News, 8th April 1882, transcribed by Kay Collins

OLD BAPTIST MEETINGS—On Monday next, Mr. D. Sheffield, of Earls Barton, will open a bazaar in the New Inn, Rushden, towards the fund for the erection of a new chapel. The bazaar will remain open during the afternoon and evening, and will be again open on Tuesday after 2 o'clock. Easter Monday being generally kept as a holiday, it is hoped that the bazaar will be attended by a large number of visitors from the surrounding neighbourhood.
