Isaac Morris – will 1718
of Wollaston
[Note – first line of Will missing]

of Woolaston in the county of Northampton make this my
Last Will & Testament in manner & form following
Imprs I Give and Bequeath unto Ann Morris my Loveing
wife and to her heirs for ever All that my freehold Lands
and medow ground Lying & being in the fields of Woolaston
Aforsd and now in my own possesion with there Apurtenances
which I Lately purchased of one Robert Cooper (Subject
nevertheles to the payment of Legcys hereafter mentioned)
I Also Give & bequeath unto the said Ann my Loveing
Wife All those my four messuages or tenement which
are copy hold being in the market stead qurtr in
Wellingborow which I have now surrendered or shall
hereafter surrender into the hands of the Lord of the
Mannor of Wellingborow Hatton by the hands of William
Baw one of the deciners there or Any other deciner of
the said Mannor & to her heirs for Ever According to
the custome of the said Mannor. Subiect nonewtholg
to the payment of the Legacys with my freehold Land & medow
Aforsd which Legacys are as follow; I Give unto my
son Thomas Morris the sum of ten pounds; I Give unto
my son John Morris the sum of ten pounds; I Give
unto my son Isaac Morris ten pounds; I Give unto
Mary Morris my youngest daughter ten pounds all Which
said Legacys my Will is shall be paid by my said Wife or her
Assignes out of the said Land in good and Lawfull money of
Great Brittain At the time When my Aforsd chilldren shall generaly
Atain to the Age of one & twenty years; Item I Give & Bequeath unto
the said Ann Morris my Loveing Wife that Bond of ten pounds
that I have from my brother* John Collis onely intrust for my
Eldest daughter Sara Morris & if the said John Collis should pay
in the said ten pounds then the said ten pounds shall be put
out to Interest Again and that my said daughter Sara shall take
the Interest from And After my deceas untill she Ataineth to the
Age of Eighteen years & then both principle & Interest shall be at her
own disposeing; I Also Give & Bequeath All my goods & chattels (not afor
herein disposed of ) to the said Ann Morris my Loveing Wife whom
I do make Executrix of this my last Will & Testament; In Wittnes
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this Eighteenth day
of March In the fourth year of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord
George by the grace of god of great Brittain France & Ireland King
Defender of the faith & in the year of our Lord Christ 1717/18
