A cottage and the Old Wollaston Independent Church behind.
Both are now the home of Wollaston Museum who kindly supplied the pictures

Wollaston Independent Church was formed in 1788. This baptism register was surrendered to the Registrar General in 1837. The book covers baptisms between 1788 and 1836. The note accompanying the register suggests the entries were a copy made from the church book in 1836/37 for the purposes of the submission as the original book was being used for other church purposes. The register is reference RG4/2047 at the National Archives.
In this transcript, the Note column gives additional information relating to some of the entries. It is not always clear, or consistent, whether the places mentioned is the place of abode of the family, the place of baptism or reference to a meeting separate to the main Wollaston meeting.

This church was Independent and later Congregational but closed in 1923.
