Pretty Wedding at Stanwick
Marriage of Nurse Barker

Considerable interest was taken at Stanwick in the wedding, which was solemnised at the Church on Saturday last, of Miss Bertha (Nurse) Barker, younger daughter of Mr. T. Barker, of Stanwick, to Mr. F. York, of London. The bride, who was accompanied by four bridesmaids, was attired in a navy blue costume and white blouse, and she wore a black picture hat with blue wings. She was given away by her brother, Mr. J. Barker.

The two chief bridesmaids (Miss York and Miss E. Parker) were attired in brown costumes, and they wore white hats; while the younger bridesmaids (Miss N. Gates and Miss Ada York) wore dresses of cream-coloured material Mr. T. Collier carried out the duties of best man.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Church-rooms, the guests numbering about 50.
