Miss Joan Wright Sails for New Zealand with All-England Team
Higham Ferrers is justly proud of the selection of Miss Joan Wright, B.A., the youngest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. A. E. Wright, of "Lymington House," as a member of the All-England hockey team which is to tour New Zealand.

Miss Wright sailed yesterday (Thursday) on the "Remuera," and will not return until the late summer. A schoolmistress at Ashby-de-la-Zouch, she has assisted the Higham Ferrers and other clubs and played with success in a great variety of representative hockey, being a member of the Northamptonshire and Midlands teams. Her best position is centre-forward, but she can also play with ability at full-back.

No other Northamptonshire player is in the team now hound for New Zealand.
