These medal-bedecked youngsters are the despair of other Wollaston boys and girls, for they can both boast that they have never been absent and never been late since they have attended school.

William Walker and Gladys Nutt

William Walker, aged 10, has now been presented with a medal for six years’ perfect attendance, since being admitted to Wollaston Council School on May 1st 1905, to December 22nd 1911.
Gladys Nutt, aged 12, has been presented with a medal for seven years’ perfect attendance, never having been absent or late from November 21st 1902, to December 22nd 1911.
These records are certified by Mr. H. Speight, the Headmaster.
