This is a copy of the photograph hung in the Temperance Hall, Raunds, in commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee of the signing of the Total Abstainer’s Pledge by Miss Pulpher, of Raunds.
Miss Pulpher has been a well-known temperance worker in this part of the county for many years. As reported in our columns last week, the sum of about £70 was subscribed by her friends and admirers at a tea and social evening on November 25th, in order to renovate the Temperance Hall in celebration of the event.
