Mr John Prentice

50 Years' Work Recognised

Twenty guineas has been presented to Mr John Prentice, Clerk to Irchester Parish Council, in recognition of fifty years service in that office.

He thanked the Council for their generosity at the annual meeting of the Council on Wednesday evening. This useful gift was in addition to a dinner given in honour of Mr. Prentice during March.

Mr. F. Dunmore was re-elected chairman of the Council and Mr W Horn was re-elected vice-chairman.
