Irchester Couple’s Pleasing Anniversary

Respectively 87 and 82 years old Mr. and Mrs. George Osborne, of Irchester, celebrated their diamond wedding last Saturday. Mrs. Fanny Osborne has lived at Irchester for the past 28 years, during 24 of which she worked for the late Mr. E. Parsons.

Until he retired on the old age pension, Mr. Osborne followed the occupation of shepherd. They were married at Chicheley, near Newport Pagnell, Bucks and now, sixty years later, they are both hale and hearty and can read without the aid of glasses.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Osborne celebrated their 61^st year of married life.  They were married at Chicheley Church, Newport-Pagnell.

Mr. Osborne is 88 and Mrs. Osborne 82. Mr. Osborne was shepherd to the Duke of Manchester at Kimbolton Castle for 14 years, and after for Mr. J. C. Eady, of Irchester Grange. He was also in the employ of the late Mr. Edward Parsons for 24 years. 

They have two sons and three daughters.
