Lance Corporal Edward Moulton

Lance Corporal Edward Moulton, son of Mr J Moulton, of Corporation Terrace, who is serving with the 1st Batt. Northants Regiment, has been home from Egypt for a course in education, and the following report was published in the Battalion Orders of January 21st by Lieut.-Col. T S Muirhead, commanding the 1st Battalion. “The Commanding Officer congratulates No 5875862 Lance Corporal E Moulton on gaining a “Distinguished Certificate of the course held at the Army School of Education from 9-10-31 to 18-12-31.” Lance Corporal Moulton was described as a very hard worker and a sound capable instructor with a pleasing personality, plenty of natural aptitude for teaching, and an excellent character. His ability to teach mathematics, English, army and empire, and map reading was described as excellent.
