Painting Reminds Her of Visit to Palace
ON July 16, Miss Eleanor Miller, of Duchy Farm, Chelveston, visited Buckingham Palace with her brother, Mr. Herbert William Miller, who owns the farm. Now she has just completed an artist's impression of the scene in the grounds of the Palace as she remembers it.
She did the painting while on a week's course at Knuston Hall County Adult Education Centre. "Had it not been for the course I do not think I would have attempted it. I would not have had the confidence," she told the "Echo".

Miss Miller had never been to Buckingham Palace. She continued: "I wanted to give myself something to remind me of the visit."
It was only three years ago that she painted her first picture. This was at the Chelveston Village Institute, when a county-wide course of tuition was being given to members.
Since then she has not stopped. A small outhouse, used as a studio, is stacked with paintings ranging from portraits to pastoral scenes.
When an "Echo" reporter spoke to her she was just starting on a picture of the wheat fields before the harvesters arrived.
