Rushden Echo & Argus, August 25, 1944
Mr and Mrs Lauderdale
Podington

50 Years—A golden wedding was celebrated at Podington on Friday August 18th—it was that of Mr and Mrs Lauderdale, of “Oak Cottage,” who evacuated from London soon after the outbreak of ward. Mr and Mrs Lauderdale were married at Stepney Church in 1894. They entertained a party of relatives and friends on Friday evening and were the recipients of a large number of congratulatory cards and telegrams. There is one daughter, Mrs G Lambert of Witham, Essex.
