Miss Priscilla Howe

Rescued from Drowning

A medal and certificate for bravery have been presented to Miss P. Howe, of Little Irchester, a member of the Life Saving Guards, an organisation for young folks in connections with the Salvation Army, for saving a girl from drowning. The official report reads: “In August 1920 Guard Priscilla Howe rescued a girl from drowning who had accidentally fallen from the bank into deep water, risking her own life in the attempts.
