| Nurse Harper—In recognition of her five years’ work, Nurse Harper was on Wednesday evening presented with a gift from the Ringstead, Great and Little Addington Nursing Association. The presentation, which took the form of a handbag with Treasury notes, was made by the president, Mr. Harry Adams, who was supported by Mr. Fred Bussey (assistant secretary). The president in making the presentation, voiced the thanks of all the members to Nurse Harper for her work, expressed regret at her leaving, and wished her happiness in her new position at Wollaston. There were 250 subscribers for the gift. |
