Medal and Bar—Rifleman Percy Green, Rifle Brigade, son of Mr. H. P. Green, Queen’s-road, Wollaston, who was awarded the Military Medal last November, has received further honours by being awarded a further bar to his medal. His commanding officer stated that he wished to compliment him on his conduct during operations from June 19th to 24th 1917, throughout the whole of which time he mended the telephone wires, which were constantly getting broken, in a most gallant manner. Rifleman Green has done about 12 years’ service, and was wounded on Oct. 20th 1914. Wollaston is proud of her sons.
