Military MedalCorpl. John Dennis, transferred from the Bedfordshire regiment to the Royal Engineers, has received the Military Medal for going to the assistance of some men who were in a shelled building. Prior to his enlistment in the Regulars 13 years ago, Corpl. Dennis was in the employ of Mr. Alfred Campion, farmer, of Knotting. He was called up as a reservist when the present war broke out. His mother, who formerly resided at Knotting Green, is now in Australia, and she has two other sons serving with the Australian Forces in France. Corpl.
